MEET OUR TEACHERS

NAOMI MCMILLAN
- OWNER/DIRECTOR -
Naomi has been dancing from the young age of only 3 years old, starting at her local dance studio G.T. Dancers. At 14 years old, Naomi joined JDance (formerly known as Jenny's Dance Centre), and here discovered her love for dance performance and education. Since then, she has worked with many different teachers and choreographers to improve her technique and education of dance performance. She has performed and competed at many events, including the Australian Dance Festival, 2GB Radio, Granny Smith Festival, Ryde Schools' Spectacular, Orange Blossom Festival and Disneyland California. Naomi holds a Bachelor of Dance Education from the Australian College of Physical Education. In 2020, Naomi also completed and attained her Intermediate Coaching Accreditation with Gymnastics Australia and looks forward helping our students develop their Acrobatics skills and technique.
After joining Crestwood School of Dance in 2011 under the direction of Lynne O'Halloran, Naomi has developed a love and appreciation for the students and families at Crestwood School of Dance, and feels privileged to now be running the studio herself. After taking over the studio from Tania Chodasewicz in 2018, Naomi is keen to continue growing the community of the studio through positive and enjoyable lessons. Naomi has always known that she wanted to be a teacher, and with her extensive dance experience, she has a strong focus on providing the best foundational training for dancers in the most fun possible way!
